Kaveh Mahjoob was born in Abadaan in 1341 Shamssi (1962) and grew up in the northern part of Khuzestan. His love for football developed during his childhood and like most children of Khuzestan, he was a "Sanat Naft" football club fan. Kaveh moved to the United States in the late 70’s, finished his academic education in the San Francisco area and started his professional career in California.
In the late 80’s, Kaveh began writing "satire" for several Northern California Persian papers and magazines and continued these writings until the mid. 90’s. He also published several short stories in these periodicals. Additionally, throughout these years, he wrote about Iran’s sports and particularly Iran’s football. For a few years, he was also active as a referee in San Francisco’s Semi-professional Soccer League.
With the arrival and acceptance of internet as a mainstream media, Kaveh began writing about Iran’s football and has continued on with this great love of his. For the last couple of years, Kaveh has been a regular contributor to and written football analysis for Irankicks.com He is also the sports editor for persianmirror.com

کاوه محجوب در سال 1341 در آبادان بدنیا آمد و تا سن 16 سالگی در شمال خوزستان زندگی کرد. در سال 1978، کاوه برای تحصیل به کالیفرنیا رفت و از آن پس در آن ایالت زندگی کرد. کاوه دارای لیسانس نرم افزار کامپیوتر و فوق لیسانس مدیریت بازرگانی میباشد.
کاوه فعالیت مطبوعاتی خود را در شمال کالیفرنیا با نوشتن طنز اجتماعی در اواخر دهه 80 آغاز کرد و با تب اینترنت بعنوان یک کانال ارتباطی جهانی، به نوشتن درباره ورزش ایران در سایتهای اینترنتی روی آورد.
در چند سال اخیر کاوه فعالیت گسترده ای با سایتهای خارج کشور ایران کیکس.کام و پرشین میرور.کام داشته است. همچنین او با سایت ورزشی پارس فوتبال در ایران نیز کار می کند.
اخیرا کاوه با روزنامه شرق، چاپ تهران همکاری نزدیکی را آغاز کرده است و مطالبش نیز در سایت جهانی گل.کام یافت می شود.
