Babak Golriz has, in a short time, been able to establish himself as one of the notable and accomplished football writers outside Iran. He has used his experiences of getting a Masters in International Relations from The University of Manchester to his advantage in analyzing football. In 2003, Babak began working with Iran Sports Press and continues to do so to this day. One of his further achievements has been working on "The Wind of Football & Science" TV 
program, where he has undertaken television interviews face-to-face with stars such as Michael Ballack and Felix Magath among others.

بابک گلریز توانسته است در مدتی کوتاه خود را بعنوان یکی از مستعدترین فوتبال نویسان خارج از ایران مطرح کند. وی با داشتن مدرک فوق لیسانس روابط بین الملل از دانشگاه منچستر، موشکافانه فوتبال ایران را نقد و بررسی می کند.
بابک در سال 2003 همکاری خود را با ایران اسپورتس پرس آغاز نمود که این همکاری همچنان ادامه دارد.
برنامه تلویزیونی «گذر علم و فوتبال» از جمله فعالیت های بابک بشمار می رود که در این برنامه توانسته با مردان صاحب نامی چون میشائل بالاک و فلیکس ماگات مصاحبه هایی انجام دهد.
