Exclusive Interview with Ando Teymourian!Ando: I am real proud to be Iranian!

www.footballmedia.net Nader Jahanfard: After scoring two fantastic goals against Wigan in EPL, Daily Mail wrote: Bolton midfielder Andranik Teymourian is fast gaining cult hero status in his particular corner of Lancashire. And a “hero” indeed!

Ando’s first strike was an immaculate and brutal conclude, a clean goal without any hesitation or second thoughts!
"His first goal was a fantastic finish. Even Nicolas Anelka might have taken a touch before putting in a shot but he didn’t need to", added manager Sam Allardyce.
And his second goal was a professional header that put Wigan behind for good.
Progressively but surely Iranian International is making a name for himself and his country in EPL and Footballmedia is proud to have yet, another exclusive chat with our “Iranian of the Day”, Mr. Andranik Teymourian!

Nader,
Ando jan ba salam. Congratulations are in order for a job well done.

Ando,
Many thanks for your attention and I also appreciate the call. I am very excited about our performance and it was also great that I was able to score a couple of times.

Nader,
I know that this was an away game for your team. Could you explain the atmosphere in the locker room after the match was over?

Ando,
Noticeably our crew was thrilled to walk away with all three points, specifically Mr. Allardyce who embraced and praised my play. The boys also applauded me for scoring two goals and becoming player of the game!

Nader,
After you scored your 2nd and final goal against Wigan, there was an immense silence on the stands. Basically you manhandled the opponent!

Ando,
This was result of some great teamwork by all. We managed to overcome the adversary. I am also extremely thrilled to be the first Iranian who scored a goal in EPL. I am proud to be Iranian period!

Nader,
Please give me some brief feedback on your current situation at Bolton.

Ando,
The practices are going great and I am on top of things. I live a short distance from stadium and our place of practice and that makes it very easy for me. I am also real comfortable at my apartment.
As far the English language, I have improved a lot since I started here. I am learning the language on my own and it has opened many doors for me. I am more comfortable with my teammates and as they saying goes; so far so good!

Nader,
You played against the mighty Manchester United few weeks back. Could you describe your feelings for me?

Ando,
Well, it was a big honor and huge thrill to be able to play against one of the best teams in the world and perform well!
I kept my composure and did my best to help our team. I think I did OK!

Nader,
We also think the same and are very proud of you Ando jan!
On a personal note, I genuinely think you are the best Iranian legionnaire at the moment and you should keep it up.
Let’s go back to the national team. Does lack of any preparatory games right before start of Asian Nations Cup worry you or not?

Ando,
Visibly any team on any level needs to have few friendlies to get to know itself and we are not an exclusion in this. It’s all up to IFF and the head coach to make the necessary arrangements for few friendly games before this summer or it is going to be very difficult to fine-tune the team.
All the participants in that competition are coming to defend the reputation and the name of their countries and they will come prepared. We should also do the same!
I am positive that people in charge of football are also aware of this and hopefully we’ll get to play few good games before we enter the competition!

Nader,
Many believe that we rely too much on our individual performances and we lack necessary teamwork. Do you also believe in that?

Ando,
Somewhat that statement holds some truth in it. We have some of the most technical players both in Persian Gulf League and abroad, but in my humble opinion we must work a bit on the teamwork and capitalize on our technical and tactical abilities. With few months of preparation we should be able to overcome this predicament as well!

Nader,
I know you have answered this question before but it does not hurt to ask it one more time. Are you planning to stay in Bolton or what is on your mind?

Ando,
At this point my focus is “only” on Bolton. I have worked real hard for the past 6-7 months to secure my place in the team and my work is not done yet. I like to put my heart in one thing at a time. I want to be on the main roaster and that’s my primary goal for now!

Nader,
I know your next game is against Everton tomorrow and I wish you and your team the best of luck for that game.

Do you have any messages for us?

Ando,
I also like to thank all my compatriots all over the world for their never-ending support. I also wish to be able to bring grandeur to my country by working hard.
Here at Bolton numerous Iranian families are giving me their 100% support and what else can I ask for?
Many thanks to all of you!

Nader,
Ando jan, you deserve it all. The future belongs to you…
